Recognized as one of the great masters of expressionism.
Works of François are to be found in public and private collections (often in Embassies and Consulates) in many countries of Europe, in the USA , in Uruguay, in Burundi, the Transkei and of course in South Africa.
François was also represented in “Five Centuries of Flemish Painting” an itinerant exhibition in a number of provinces in South Africa.
